What I've Done
For those of you who may be wondering where I have been......but then again maybe your not. If you follow me then you know I am also a huge fan of doing podcasting (internet radio). I have decided to take some time and get more involved in my community now that I am retired and have just a little more time....not too much more.
My wife is tired of me complaining of city topics or events taking place and not doing anything about it, so now I am.
I've decided to do two things;
First: I've created and dedicated a new community web-site to the residents of Garden City Michigan. A site where they can send events, or announcements, or promotions. or maybe a story they would like to share with the community. More less a tool they can use to keep in touch with city affairs.
Second: I've created and dedicated a community talk show that they can call-in to and voice their opinions or thoughts and ideas on. A platform to also "announce, promote and discuss" anything that may be on their minds at the time.
I have also sent out a standing invitation to the Mayor and all city officials to come on the show at their convenience. And maybe do a Q&A session. I've opened it up to the surrounding communities also if they wish to participate.
How It's Going
Although this is still a work in progress, it is going pretty well, but remember it just went live 2 weeks ago. So I will continuing to get both these up and running, and do my best to support and give back to my community. I just need a little more help promoting it and I think we'll be good to go.
Don't worry I am not giving up on HubPages at all, I'm just taking a little break. I will be back before you know it to continue my writing and participate in the forums. I miss you guy's and will be back soon. Hold down the fort........

Well I was defiantly wondering where in the heck you went. I have not been on much either with going back to work and mama not doing so well. I miss you bunches and Can't wait to see you on here again.
